I thought I would give Dr. Srinivasin one more try as last year I did not have a good experience. I went with expectations of a physical. The office assistant had me fill out forms and one was a green paper with a myriad of questions such as "have you had overwhelming feelings of sadness" etc. When the Dr. came in she asked which 2 things did I want to talk about today. I said that my toe hurt and that I was here for a physical. She said that she could only talk to me about 2 things. If I wanted a physical I would have to reschedule. I started to cry. I wanted to know why my toe hurt and also have a physical. She looked at the green form and said that I was experiencing depression and should be taking some medication to help me. So she wrote out a prescription for some antidepressants. I was confused as to why she did this. I wasn't depressed, I was in pain. When I went home and thought more about what happened at the doctor's office I was concerned that I wasn't even offered counseling for "my so called depression." I didn't fill the prescription. This happened in 2015. It is now 2016 and I needed a physical for health insurance reasons. I thought I would give Dr. Srinivasin another try. When I went into the office I was given the same green form about depression to fill out. LAST VISIT FOR ME!!! NEW Doctor!!!! Just a warning - if you want depression on your record go to Dr. Srinivasin.
