John V. Comerford, 72, passed unexpectedly the morning of March 15, 2023, during his daily morning run with his dog. He was born November 1, 1950, in Hendricks, Minnesota, the son of Vincent Comerford and Delores (Lozinski) Comerford. John graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Salina, Kansas, Class of 1968. John attended Kansas Wesleyan University before transferring to Fort Hays State University where he completed his Bachelor's degree in History and his Master's degree in Business. John met his wife Jeanie Slaughter while living in Hays, Kansas.
